Hardware Background

They were using a Windows Server 2003 in Terminal Services Mode with 8 clients connecting using Windows 98 and Windows XP Home Edition Workstations.  Access to the server was becoming slower and slower with access to e-mails via Outlook Express.

The server did not have a RAID set and no UPS and was prone to locking up and generally failing.

Initial Solution

Networx-IT Solutions implemented a new Windows 2003 SBS server with RAID and UPS.  Installed and configured 8 new Workstations in a Client/Server Domain environment.

Result

Networx-IT Solutions Limited now provides support for the network, server and client PC’s.  Overall, there has been a significant improvement for reliability, service and productivity.
